Anti-Corruption Ambassadors in the various Ministries Departments and Agencies of government have called on ICPC to extend Anti-Corruption training to members of the National Assembly as well as to Chief Executive Officers of agencies.
Reacting to presentations at a training programme titled: “UPHOLDING ETHICAL AND INTEGRITY STANDARDS IN MDAs: THE ROLE OF ACTUs”, the participants observed that the discussions were so frank and deep that policy makers as well as accounting officers should be part of.
They argued that for the desired change and enthronement of ethical and Integrity standards to be achieved, the key policy makers must actively drive the process.
They appealed to the leadership of the National Assembly, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Head of Civil Service and ICPC Chairman to work together to ensure that an annual or bi-annual training programme is organised for them.
