The Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria, the research and training arm of ICPC, has just concluded the training of 94 Principal Officers of Akwa Ibom State Local Government Councils.
The programme titled, ANTI-CORRUPTION, ETHICS AND INTEGRITY TRAINING, was designed to build the capacity of participants to tackle corruption in their respective local government areas.
Based on the level of active involvement exhibited by the participants in all the sessions, the Academy is convinced that the gains of the programme will go a long way in supporting the process of entrenching integrity in the processes of government and fighting corruption to a standstill in the local governments in Akwa Ibom State.
