69 participants from 31 countries across Africa rose from a three-day Corruption Risk Assessment training in Abuja with the resolve to deploy the CRA methodology to the corruption prevention programmes in their various domains.
The training which held at the instance of the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was facilitated by the Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria, ACAN, the Research and Training arm of Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.
The C R A training aimed at developing the capacity of participants to understand and apply the Corruption Risk Assessment methodology to systems, processes and procedures of Ministries, Departments and Agencies in their countries, in order to prescribe appropriate responses to corruption risks.
The closing ceremony of the event was attended by some Ambassadors and a host of heads of Federal agencies in Nigeria.
