The Provost, ACAN
Professor Sheriff Ghali Ibrahim is currently on secondment from the University of Abuja. He was previously, Director, Centre for Contemporary China-Africa Research in Nigeria and Head of International Center, University of Abuja.
He is a multilingual scholar of international repute, a theorist and a sinologist who obtained his Ph.D in International Politics from the College of International Cultural Exchange of Huazhong Normal University, Hubei-Wuhan, Peoples Republic of China. Sheriff is a fellow of the Institute for African Studies Zhejiang Normal University, Asian Scientific research, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, and Centre for Contemporary China-Africa Research. His areas of research are hinged on the Chinese Communist Party, the Belt and Road Initiative, African Politics, International Politics, Russo-American Relations, Feminism and Gender Studies, China-Africa Cooperation, Foreign Policy and Diplomacy. Sheriff was the former Deputy Director of the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education of University of Abuja, Director of the Centre for Legislative Studies, Head of Department, Political Science and International Relations of same institution, Director International Centre of University of Abuja, and Director of the Centre for Contemporary China-Africa Research in Nigeria. Professor Sheriff has authored more than a dozen of academic books (among them: China Building a Global Community with a shared Future; China Rises and the American Empire Declines; China-Africa Modernization, among others) as contribution to knowledge and more than 100 articles in both local and international journals. He has been invited to attend several international summits such as the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the BRICS Media Forum, the Medays summit by Amadeus, the Belt and Road summit and Sinologists program, among others.

The Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria, the ICPC Academy, was established pursuant to Section 6 of the Corruption Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000 which empowers the Commission to carry out preventive, enforcement and enlightenment functions.
